Celebrity Fashion Designer Premiers On Lifetime Network Series

Celebrity fashion designer Richard Lowe, of Richard Lowe Fashion Group, announced this week that he will be appearing on Lifetime Networks “24-Hour Catwalk.” The newest reality show, in the Lifetime Network family of shows on January 10th, 2012.
 
Nov. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Celebrity fashion designer Richard Lowe, of Richard Lowe Fashion Group, announced this week that he will be appearing on Lifetime Networks “24-Hour Catwalk.” The newest fashion reality show, in the Lifetime Network family of shows is being released on January 10th, 2012.

Hosted by Alexa Chung, Vogue’s own “it” girl, each episode gives four talented designers the chance to compete to create their own collection ... in just one day. After a first cut challenge and elimination that will test their innovation and aesthetic, the competition whittles down to two, each tasked with creating a themed collection for their own star-studded runway show, in less than 24 hours.

Richard is placed on pins and needles when he, along with help of his somewhat talented and opinionated sewing team, must prepare to showcase his runway collection on the catwalk to the program’s judges including: Cynthia Rowley, Derek Blasberg and James LaForce. The show brings real insight of the fashion industry to the Lifetime Network viewers, offering them a rare look inside what it truly takes to make a fashion collection happen.

Richard Lowe, one of New York’s premier celebrity designers, is paired up against Joann Berman, one of his own fashion mentors. Forced to compete against each other, in this unexpected twist that even the network did not know about, puts their friendship to the test. In a passionate race to the end, both designers are challenged emotionally by their fondness for each other, to play fair, but cannot resist their competitive drive to win.

In a creative twist the sewing team provided to Richard is not always so willing, or able, to comply with the designers wishes, making this challenge that much more difficult and dramatic.
