ReDesign Home Consignment Opens in Royal Oak

Nov. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- The National Council of Jewish Women, Greater Detroit Section (NCJW/GDS) will open its third Council ReSale Shop on Monday, November 28.  Located at 32801 Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak, ReDesign Home Consignment is the organization’s first home store and will feature furniture, home accessories and artwork.  A grand opening celebration, featuring food and music by Tola Lewis, is planned for Thursday, December 8 from 6 to 9 p.m.  

A variety of one-of-a-kind home furnishings and accessories will be available for purchase in the 2,250 square foot showroom.  Items such as rugs, chandeliers, end and dining tables, art, sofas and chairs from manufacturers including Baker, Henredon, Brueton, Dunbar, McGuire and Poulsen will be available at drastically discounted prices.  Prices depend on the individual piece.

“ReDesign Home Consignment offers items for anyone looking to purchase home goods on a budget, to interior designers looking for that great piece at a reduced price, to those seeking to liquidate good furniture,” said Retail Merchandising Director Robert Lebow.  “Our knowledgeable staff, state-of-the-art software and ‘urban space’ showroom in a great location cannot be beat.”

We have design center products without the design center rules and regulations.  Everyone is welcome,” he adds.  Donations and consignment items are encouraged.  

Parking is available in front or on the side of the building.  The store will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
   
NCJW/GDS Council Resale stores support more than 25 local community programs, such as Kosher Meals on Wheels and All Kids Playground, with sale proceeds. The nondenominational shops have been in business for nearly 80 years, and continue to support many area projects that aid thousands of metro Detroiters.
