Nov. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Grammy-nominated soul singer, songwriter, producer and lyricist Maimouna Youssef released the video for the lead single from her debut album, “The Blooming,” called I Got A Man produced by DJ Jazzy Jeff and Damien DeSandies. The video was directed and edited by Brian "B. Kyle" Atkins of Gifted Films, Inc. and produced by Diallo “Daheart” Sumbry of The Adinkra Group, Brian “B. Kyle Atkins” and Maimouna Youssef herself. I Got a Man was shot on location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania & Washington, DC over the course of three days.

The “I Got A Man” video approaches the song’s love triangle theme from a unique perspective showing Maimouna Youssef as an embattled independent music artist searching for a balance between the music business and her love for creating free honest music.
