Oneworld Health To Advocate For Safeguarding Polio Free Status In Selected States In India

Nov. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- South San Francisco, CA – November 28, 2011 – OneWorld Health (OWH), a non-profit organization that develops lifesaving medicine for neglected diseases in children, announced that it is launching an advocacy program to help maintain polio free status in selected  states of India. The campaign is supported by an educational grant from Sanofi Pasteur in India.

Many states have been polio-free for years.  OneWorld Health is committed to assisting with developing strategies to help states maintain polio-free environment today and for the future,” said Dr. Raj Shankar Ghosh, VP and Head of South Asia for OWH.
