TheWILDWomanProject, which launches on January 1, 2012, is dedicated to empowering women with tools and a support community to create the life of their wildest dreams.
“It is a hugely exciting time to be a woman,” said Chris Maddox, creator of the Project, “Generations of women before us have prayed for this time- worked for it, fought for it, wept for it, meditated on it. Their dream has come true. I don’t dare let them down.”
She cited data released last year, showing that American women in their 20s and 30s are now outearning men by a not insignificant margin. “Things are changing. We are collectively becoming more and more incapable of settling for less in work, relationships, spirituality,”
“I came tonight to support a project I deeply believe in. “— said Nathalie Lailler, a Bioinformatics Engineer at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Having participated in numerous workshops lead by Chris Maddox, Nathalie has had a chance to meet her inner “Wild Woman” and wishes more women could have this amazing experience, she noted.
A designer Hilary Dare shared similar sentiment. "I came to the party for theWILDwomanproject to support and celebrate Chris Maddox and her fellow WILD women because WE are indeed making a difference in the world! I came to support and honor my loving community."
