Nov. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- 2012 hopeful Newt Gingrich's astonishingly "human" compromise between amnesty and a one way bus ticket outta here may have been a self design to make himself the sacrificial goat, knowing that he would he ire his conservative base to the point they dump him and at the same time float what so many people view as the only kind of sense heard in years from either side of the fence on the no win situation.

"Newt's no dummy," said one source who asked not to be identified . "He knows he can't can win and this is his attempt to get his personal point across in the national theatre on the subject, and to his credit, his position makes a lot of sense. The problem is not the US immigration laws. They're fine, and they were fine for as long as they were enforced, but now that we have a genuine economic problem because of not enforcing them for so long makes us look like idiots. It's our own fault for getting ourselves into the mess in the first place and now facing the out of control financial dilemma.

Some folks have likened a strict no stance amnesty approach in private as akin to knocking on the doors of senior citizens and informing them that they are under suspicion of violating a slew of marital bedroom door blue laws. This makes the Republicans look much more compassionate and the issue now much more difficult to handle on the Democratic side, who have longed played the holier than thou."

As one current joke making the rounds, were frequent government employee flyers required to pay "extra baggage" fees, Newt's maiden flight on Air Force One might alone bankrupt the country, and that his current king of the candidate's hill was just a natural kneejerk pipedream that could never see a real candidacy, Newt may have decided to do a tremendous service to both his Republican Party as well as the nation at large, and at an early enough time in the compaign that he can count him out of the worst part of the battle when he really has no chance at all.
