Nov. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Officially launched on Nov. 22, People for Common Sense Government is a website dedicated to spreading the word about the causes and effects of the most recent United States financial crisis.

Analyzing the current debt situation piece by piece, the site offers ideas and solutions that could aid in solving the problem. It also provokes a response from citizens who are fed up with the politicians and corporations who have led millions of citizens on a downward spiral in the national economy.

"This affects everyone,” site administrator Michael Miller said. Our national debt is at about 15 trillion dollars and 10 trillion of that is owed to the American people in one way or another. That means that two-third's of that debt is owed to us—me and you.”

People for Common Sense Government in part blames frivolous spending on the national military program for the financial crisis. It also cites America’s excessive generosity toward other countries and a lack of accountability for corporations.

“Simple, common sense, changes—that’s all that is needed,
the website explains. “Instead, our politicians and corporations play political and financial games with your money and with your lives.”

Not only does the site raise awareness about the details of the fiscal disaster, it provides potential remedies as well as a plea to protestors to temper their behavior on the streets.

“Get your message out, but in non-violent ways and without incurring the wrath of those we are hoping to help,” the site says. “We want to be America's reasoning and not its destroyer.”

The site plans to offer regular news updates and information related to current issues regarding the financial state and the protests that stem from it. Site visitors are encouraged to sign the guestbook and leave comments.
