For Ooh La La Dessert Boutique, Third Time’s a Charm

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 25, 2011 - Katy, TX – For Vanessa O’Donnell, pastry chef and owner of Ooh La La Dessert Boutique, success keeps getting sweeter. In 2007, O’Donnell – a graduate of the Art Institute of Houston’s Baking and Pastry Program and just 26 years young – launched her first sweet shop in Katy.  In 2010, she opened a second bakery and commissary in Katy, strategically setting herself up for expansion into the Houston market.  Now, just one year later, O’Donnell proudly unveils yet another Ooh La La Dessert Boutique, setting up shop at Town and Country Village in Memorial at 770 West Sam Houston Parkway North, Houston, TX 77024.  Located next to Café Express, the new 3,000-square-foot bakery is the biggest storefront yet, complete with a beautiful wraparound patio.

“Since opening the doors to our first store, customers have been asking us to open another, closer to Houston,” says O’Donnell.  “It took us a while to find the perfect location, but it was worth the wait.  We couldn’t be happier with our choice – it truly is amazing.”  

Ooh La La’s newest store boasts four beautifully stocked pastry cases with even more sweet treats on the menu and – new to Ooh La La – a milk shake bar.  The bakery will also serve gelato from local purveyor Gelato Blu and is partnering with Houston’s own Katz Coffee for coffee service.

The Town & Country Village location is the first Ooh La La Dessert Boutique to remain open on Sundays.  Store hours are Monday – Thursday 8 am-9 pm, Friday and Saturday 8 am-10 pm and Sundays noon-6pm.

Ooh La La prides itself in made-from-scratch desserts prepared with premium ingredients, including award-winning cupcakes, extraordinary cheesecakes, cookies, pies and more.  The dessert menu evolves throughout the year to feature creative, seasonally inspired desserts.
