Food collected by Storage Village’s White Flint office is donated to Manna, Montgomery County’s main food bank. Food sent to Manna is distributed to families in need as well as local non-profit organizations that feed their clients.
Storage Village, a leading self-storage company in Maryland and Virginia, is committed to feeding the neighborhoods they serve throughout the year. With each move in, new tenants donate at least three canned goods in exchange for their first month’s rent costing only $1.
“Storage Village Self Storage is proud to have made a difference for those in need of help this month. I hope you will join our effort to feed those who need help in December! ”
-L. Goldberg, President
Storage Village’s dedication to making sure no one in our community is left hungry marks just one of the many ways Storage Village exemplifies and encourages its core values of excellence, integrity, and community service. This month Storage Village is collecting unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots, the Marines’ campaign to make sure all children in our community can have a happy holiday.
The Storage Village team leads by example; each full time employee spends at least 8 hours per month of their work hours volunteering at local non-profits. Their impact extends across the community; they can be found working at after school programs, helping feed the hungry, and serving on the board of national non-profits.
Storage Village is proud to be an active member in their community. As “the trusted home for your possessions,”
