aFilmByYou launches unique new approach to Independent Hollywood movie making via Social Networks.

Nov. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- aFilmbyYou, created by Christian M. Christian, is a new media business model that has garnered rave reviews from Hollywood heavy-hitters and is now experiencing the added bonus of a fortunate series of events that will help launch the Venture on an international scale.

Having personally met Producers such as an Executive Producer of the Twilight series, Christian knew he was really on to something when the VP of Finances at a major studio  agreed over lunch that the idea had viability. An Emmy winning Documentary TVProducer and co-owner of his own Malibu Production company found the idea "brilliant," while the former VP of Digital Entertainment at a top three broadcast studio called the business plan "the wave of the future."

At the same time as he was launching his entertainment website, Christian was overjoyed to see that bi-partisan efforts are succeeding in passing the "Entrepreneurs Access to Capital Act,"  a bill in Congress that his web venture is uniquely poised to capitalize on and that will make it possible for the first time ever, to sell "shares" in a movie to the movie-goer who's small investments also allow them access into the production process through an online voting system.

Social media analysts have long sought a way to monetize free online content like Facebook & Twitter and it looks like Christian has found the way-by requiring subscription fee's while giving much more back-not just control of the project but-assuming the law is changed-an ROI (Return on Investment).

aFilmbyYou, conceived of by Christian in 2005, of a website where anyone 13 and over, would be able to not just passively watch live-streamed movies, (then considered the latest technology) but be equipped to Produce movies through online voting on every major development, production and marketing decision and through crowd-funding, generate the film budget.


Christian's statement that "they made a movie about the Social Network, now the Social Network is about making the movie" will no doubt become a catch phrase among the cognoscenti.
