The new modular sheeting is designed to protect the panels in transit and is reusable and more durable ensuring full protection of the prefabricated mobile offices during transportation.
Produced from hard wearing terram material, the sheeting is breathable and is tear resistant allowing easy adherence to panels. This means it can be re-used thereby achieving cost-savings of up to 80% and providing excellent waste management benefits.
John Lutkevitch, Operations Supervisor of Portable Offices has spearheaded the development of the new product and is proud of its green credentials:
“The new terram sheeting involves a slightly higher initial outlay but is totally reusable – on average it should cover three or four moves – which is good news for our waste management programme and therefore the environment and will also benefit clients looking to save costs as we can reuse sheeting and the timber stays used for bracing the sheeting during transport and storage.”
The new product is gradually being introduced from December and should be in operation on all contracts by early next year.
