PRLog - Nov. 23, 2011 - Cloudorado - Cloud Computing Price Comparison Engine has beaten over 700 other startups and won the second prize in “Business Concept” contest by Raiffeisen Bank.
Cloudorado is a free online service that helps organizations to compare cloud providers and select the most suitable one for individual needs. Currently a beta version compares costs of IaaS providers by price calculation of individually set server requirements. "But price is just our first step. We want to become a center of information needed when choosing a cloud provider, making the selection process quick and easy" says Marcin Okraszewski, founder of the service. Moreover the service is planned to extend to Platform as a Service (PaaS) as well.
"Startup contests are a great opportunity for verification of a service. Winning the prize confirms the direction taken and becomes an important milestone. But obviously we have also other indicators proving the value we bring. The most notable is that many users go to providers’ pages and then buy services" says Marcin Okraszewski.
The service is currently in beta available at http://www.cloudorado.com/
