River Marketing makes a big impression at the Eventia Awards

Performance improvement specialist, River Marketing, celebrated two Golds at the spectacular Eventia Awards 2011 last weekend.

Nov. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Eventia, the recognised official trade body of the events and live marketing industry, hosted the awards for over 700 top events industry professionals at the Hilton Park Lane on Friday 18th November.

River, which has been on something of a winning streak this year, received two gold awards - Best incentive/motivation (UK) for the Mercedes-Benz Vans World Cup programme and Best incentive/motivation (International) for its channel incentive programme, Pioneer Forward.

Hosted by impressionist and comedian Alistair McGowan, the Awards honoured the most outstanding business-to-business and business-to-consumer events of last year, including corporate events, product launches, company exhibitions, presentations, hospitality, celebratory events, meetings and conferences of all sizes and formats, both overseas and in the UK.  

River designed and implemented the Mercedes-Benz Vans Sales Acadamy World Cup campaign to help bring the dealer network together and create genuine engagement among participants.  The programme period coincided with the 2010 football World Cup and included creative communications such as a dedicated Facebook page, regular video updates and Twitter feeds, plus a celebrity challenge on TalkSPORT radio. Winning participants then took part in a special Mercedes-Benz Vans World Cup tournament, held at a professional football club in the UK.

The Agency designed and created the channel incentive programme for Pioneer to inspire its elite dealers to focus on sales of professional DJ products throughout Europe and encourage them to be loyal to the Pioneer brand.  It culminated in an impressive incentive trip to Ibiza for Pioneer’s top European dealers, who were treated to some incredible money-can’t-buy experiences at exclusive venues on the Island in June last year.
