The study asked the hiring managers to explain their styles and preferences in order to work out what it is that defines this group of individuals.

In the wardrobe department, a huge 63% wore business-casual clothing, with only 16% answering that they wore business suits every day. It seems that dark colours are the most popular with 60% wearing navy blue or black. “At MG Limited we were surprised by this answer because we still feel that a business suit is the most common attire.”

Their drinking habits were perhaps less unexpected. 32% preferred to remain teetotal at office functions, 26% opted for a glass of wine and 22% ordered a beer. “Drinking alcohol is very much a personal choice for us at MG Limited, however refraining from drinking allows you to still function to the best of your ability even in a social business setting. You never know where your next client might be.”

A huge 41% of managers brought their own food with them to work. “This allows you fit your lunch around your day if you’re busy, rather than having to dash out when you’re in the middle of something important.” 19% had a sit-down meal at a restaurant and 17% grabbed something from a food outlet. Apparently 23% skipped lunch all together, “but we wouldn’t recommend that at MG Limited!”

With the more obvious examples out of the way, could your future success come down to the side that your part your hair?! 31% of power players parted their hair on the right, 27% on the left and 9% down the middle. “Perhaps the team at MG Limited will take more time on their hair after reading this!”

What about the Mark Zuckerberg’s of this world, racing around in their flip-flops and hoodies as they make their billions? “MG Limited would be interested to see if these statistics changed amongst the world’s entrepreneurs and millionaires. Still, we’ll be wearing black today!”
