Nov. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- It seems that every artist wants to get on a track with Mike Posner these days and this shows in his newest Mixtape, The Layover.  This is one of the biggest mixtapes of the year with twenty one tracks, featuring one of my favorite up and coming artists, Big K.R.I.T. and not to mention veterans like, Bun B and Twista.  I still listen to Mike's last two mixtapes, and with a mainstream following behind him The Layover impresses even more.  This guy is too good to still be offering free music like this so don't miss out. Hip hop is an ever changing music genre.  New artists are constantly being born and old ones die.  New artists are often born through mixtapes.  If you don’t know what a mixtape is then you are in for a real treat.  Mixtapes are free albums that usually aren’t as fine tuned as albums but they’re free and completely legal to download.  Often artists will even put hit singles on their mixtapes. There are plenty of bad ones out there so it’s important to download the right ones so you’re not listening to a bunch of crap for hours.  Would you want to download a mixtape from a reviewer who hasn’t even listened to the mixtape.
