Excel4apps, a provider of best-in-class Excel-based reporting software for use with SAP and Oracle, today announced the key personnel appointment of Wilhelm Hamman as Sales Director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This region has experienced a 40% jump in sales over 2010, adding to a compound annual revenue growth of 78% over the past five years. The growth is fueled by the popular GL Wand product, which allows finance professionals to pull real-time Oracle and SAP general ledger data simply and securely into Excel.
“With a solid client base in over 13 Asia-Pacific countries, we’re experiencing ongoing growth as more Oracle and SAP business users recognize GL Wand as an easy way to independently create their own financial reports from enterprise system data,” said Michele Buson, President of Excel4apps. “We are excited to bring Wilhelm on board to further accelerate our regional presence through the development of partnerships and new customers.”
Wilhelm brings more than 15 years of experience in the technology industry, with a concentration on business development, project management and consulting in the software industry. He earned an ITIL foundation certificate in IT service management, completed IT programs at Wits Business School and Gordon Institute of Business in South Africa, and received sales training with the FranklinCovey Institute in Paris. Wilhelm holds a B.S. in Engineering and MBA from North-West University, South Africa.
As APAC Sales Director, Wilhelm drives sales and revenue growth through direct and indirect sales channels in the APAC region, where Excel4apps is headquartered. Existing users of the popular GL Wand product in this region include TAK Co., Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, DHL, and Bossini Enterprises.
