“Our goal is to unite the community and to give hope to children who have none,” said Dave Phillips, President of Children’s Hunger Fund.
Community members, volunteers, families, businesses, and friends from all over will join CHF in their largest Toy Wrap event yet, putting their hands to work to help children in need.
Children’s Hunger Fund has hosted an annual Toy Wrap for 19 years, but this is a special one for CHF. The end of December is CHF’s 20-year anniversary as a nonprofit serving needy children. And this Toy Wrap is one of CHF’s first events in their new Global Distribution Center in Sylmar, six miles from their former Pacoima headquarters. The new facility doubles the warehouse space, allowing CHF to reach more children internationally.
“This Toy Wrap is a double blessing,” said Phillips. “Not only are we serving children in need, but we’re doing it right here in our new ‘home.’”
