November 2, 2011 – Stroudsburg PA – Stroud Township passed a variance for
Major Hyundai to install an unobtrusive  42 foot wind turbine that will produce more power for the dealership while at the same time virtually eliminating any negative impact on the Poconos wildlife environment.

Major Hyundai owners Bruce Bendell and Daniel Dortic, both green initiative enthusiasts, are proud to be the first to bring this environmentally friendly vertical wind turbine technology to Stroud Township. From the amazing Hybrid Sonata to using recycled oil to heat the dealership, both owners are always looking for ways to minimize any negative impact on the environment.

When asked what convinced them to change to wind turbine technology for power, Dortic replied “When we discovered how reliable it was, and that in about 30 months the wind turbine would have paid for itself and that it’s environmentally friendly, it was a no brainer.
