Admissions professionals.
PRLog (Press Release) -
Nov. 22, 2011 - On Thursday evening, November 17, Juniors and their parents heard from a panel of six admissions professionals from various school types about the college search and application process. Among other topics, the panelists offered their perspectives on how to conduct an effective college search and factors that are considered in the application review process. The next morning, these same panelists facilitated a round of four workshops to discuss these ideas in more details with students. Juniors and Seniors were also able to join them for lunch to talk in small groups about their schools. Highland’
s College Counseling office hosts this program annually as part of their calendar of parent and student education programs on various college admission topics. This program serves as a kick-off for the college search process for the Junior class. Many thanks to parent volunteers Haley Walsh, Dorsey deButts, Stacy DiRocco, Stephanie Batistas, and Jonelle St. John for their help in preparing for this event.
