According to an official statement issued by the MarCom Awards, MarCom entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. This year MarCom had over 6,000 entries. Less than half of those entries received some type of recognition.
Judges for the MarCom awards are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. A look at the winners from this year and prior years shows a range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies.
