Lewis Jewelers Celebrates 30th Anniversary With Party Inspired By The Decade It All Started | 80’s

Nov. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Lewis Jewelers, a full-service jewelry retailer located in Webster, Texas, recently celebrate their 30th anniversary by turning back the hands of time and taking guests back 30 years to the glamorous 80’s for an amazing fundraising event. Sequins, ruffles, shoulder pads and big hair were en vogue for ‘Dynasty Diamonds’ as over 500 guests rubbed elbows, relived decades past and took part in this fantastic event that raised more than $26,000 for Texas Children’s Hospital—benefitting the hospital’s Renal Department, a department that is many times overlooked for funds.

Lewis’ “Diamonds & Dynasty” event was inspired by the glamorous 1980’s soap opera ‘Dynasty’. The event featured a large tent with beautiful sparkly decor, live band “Fried Icecream” and plenty of delicious food and cocktails. Representatives from jewelry and watch designers such as Rolex, JB Star, David Yurman, Breitling, John Hardy, Precision Set, Mont Blanc, Victorinox Swiss Army, Stephanie Hilton, Pandora, Girard Perregaux, Michele, Orbis , Roberto Coin, Audemars Piguet, Kwiat, Jude Frances and more were present to offer guests expertise on their lines.

Guests also had the opportunity to bid on silent auction items that included beautiful pieces of jewelry, watches, sporting event tickets and more and more. All proceeds from the silent auction benefited Texas Children’s Hospital.
