By: Worldwide Comedy Pigs From a Gun set out to combine the songwriting of the Beatles with the reggae feel of Bob Marley and the funky grooves of the Grateful Dead. The group is blending the natural sounds of acoustic guitars, vocals and drums with a dizzying array of effects and synths to create their fresh new sound. Out in front is lead vocalist/guitarist Brian Chafin providing the passionate singing with his combination of rhythm guitar and synth leads. Next to him is lead guitarist Mudge with his blazing solos and colorful, melodic leads. Last, but not least, is drummer Colin Chinsammy banging out his groovin beats that make everyone in the audience jump from their seats and hit the dance floor. Together this trio is creating new, refreshing material and is an instant hit with crowds young and old alike.
