Nov. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Bethel Music releases its all-new, full-length recording, The Loft Sessions, Jan. 24, 2012 as a special CD/DVD Digipak combo with global distribution through Kingsway.  Recorded live in a refurbished rustic loft, the Bethel Music team gathered friends and family for several nights of worship that set the stage for this ground-breaking recording.  The Loft Sessions explores new territory for Bethel Music, merging an array of acoustic creativity with the modern melodies of original songs by Brian and Jenn Johnson, Jeremy Riddle and emerging artists Steffany Frizzell, Hunter Thompson and Matt Stinton.

“Incorporating several different musical styles, we wanted to create a new sound, something that shakes the stereotypes of what people might think Bethel Music is,” says Brian Johnson.  “The strength of what we accomplished is in the community of artists that came together.”

“It was like stumbling upon a new way to create or write songs,” says Jeremy Riddle.  “I’m used to refining songs before going into the production of a record.  The writing, refining process for this album all happened during the production, which is kind of unusual, but it worked beautifully!”

One of the standout tracks from The Loft Sessions, “Come To Me,” was written by Jenn Johnson.  Seeing the news of earthquakes and other natural disasters happening all around the world, she wanted to know what God was saying through all the chaos.  Jenn heard the Lord saying, “You don’t have to worry about anything, just come to me.”

Prior to the release of the full CD/DVD, “Come To Me” will be featured at iTunes Dec. 6 as a single and a song-video bundle.  The Loft Sessions will also be available for pre-orders via iTunes beginning December 20.
