11th Annual Christmas for the Animals
Paper mache gifts and “prey animals” will be filled with treats for the tigers, cougars, black leopard, lynx, and other big cats at the 11th Annual Christmas for the Animals at Peace River Refuge & Ranch in Zolfo Springs, FL.
The bears, wolves and other rescued animals will receive decorated boxes, stuffed with food and treats. The monkeys will receive stockings and gifts filled with goodies.
For a $15 donation, visitors will watch as animal caretakers distribute the edible gifts to the animals for them to “explore and destroy” - bring you camera!
This is a unique opportunity for the whole family to experience an inspiring day and witness one form of enrichment provided to sanctuary animals as part of their high standards of care...while supporting a great cause.
There will be a silent auction and raffle prizes during the event as well featuring art made by the animals themselves and trips to Africa or other places of your choice.
100% of the proceeds benefit the rescued animals at the sanctuary.
