"Chincoteague with Ishah Wright" explores an island paradise and its wild ponies

Actress and Recording Artist Ishah Wright Introduces The Island of Chincoteague in revealing film

Nov. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Actress and recording artist Ishah Wright presents the new introspective film, "Chincoteague with Ishah Wright." The film is inspired by author Marguerite Henry's 1947 book about a wild pony "Misty of Chincoteague." Wright's film takes a modern day exploration of the island and shares the story behind this legendary community paradise and its tourist attributes.

"Chincoteague with Ishah Wright" brings together a cast that includes Wright's husband Nathan Shelby and Dr. Gary Reynolds, Special Assistant to the Sherriff of Bedford County in Virginia, on Wright's personal voyage through the tiny island of Chincoteague. The feature takes the viewer on an adventure by vividly capturing the natural habitats and documents her journey to secure the longevity of these natural breeds.

"The island is like a paradise found," states Wright.

Chincoteague, which means "beautiful land across the water," reflects the grandiose nature in which Wright plans to fulfill her crusade to bring awareness to the rare species of Chincoteague Island. Wright says proceeds from the films' exposure will go towards replenishing the beach of its neighboring Assateague Island, law enforcement & more!.

"Chincoteague with Ishah Wright," chronicles the island's current environmental stability by raising awareness on sustaining this paradise as a major tourist attraction.

Wright has written a companion e-book also titled "Chincoteague with Ishah Wright," available on amazon.com.  Plans are in the works for a red-carpet event and book signing.
