Follow on Google News | "Winding Down the Wars" with Ambassador Robert P. FinnThe public is invited to a 12/14/11 World Affairs Forum breakfast presentation on “Winding Down the Wars” by former U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan, Robert Finn, taking place at the Stamford Yacht Club.
In 2002, Ambassador Finn became the first U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan in over 20 years. He served in this position until 2003 and had previously been the U.S. Ambassador to Tajikistan from 1998-2001. In 1992, he opened the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan. Ambassador Finn is currently an Associate Research Scholar in the Liechtenstein Institute of the Woodrow Wilson School of International Affairs and lecturer in the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University. The cost for the breakfast and presentation is free for AR series members and $45 for the general public. The event will start at 7:15 A.M. with coffee and networking followed by a full breakfast buffet at 7:30. The presentation will begin at 8 A.M. and Ambassador Finn will take questions.
