21st November 2011, Syon Park London: More than 80,000 top-quality real trees as well as wreaths, garlands, mistletoe and houseplants such as poinsettias will be available at The Garden Centre Group this season, transforming their 130 centres across the UK into a veritable winter wonderland.

The trees, renowned for their excellent quality, are selected with great care to ensure that each and every customer is delighted with their selection.

Tim Clapp, Head of Horticulture for The Garden Centre Group, said, “At The Garden Centre Group, only the best quality cut and potted trees are selected so that they can look as fresh and festive on the 6th of January as on the day they were brought home.

“We have pledged to source only the finest Christmas trees and plants and the Group is committed to providing its customers with only the best plants year round, sourced locally whenever possible.

“All of our poinsettias are British-grown, with over 50,000 grown in our own nurseries. In fact, 90% of all our plants are now sourced from within the UK.”
