Raptivist Calvin Roberson Unites With Artists In The DC Area To Heal Hunger Through Hip Hop

The Nation’s Capital’s Largest Single-Day Food Drive on December 16, 2011 Uses Hip Hop To Heal Hunger

Nov. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- On Friday, December 16, 2011, Calvin "Pro’Verb" Roberson will lead the Will Rap 4 Food campaign in conjunction with DMV artists to Heal Hunger through Hip Hop, providing assistance to the millions of Americans who are struggling to put food on their tables every day.

Will Rap 4 Food, Inc. presents the "Hunger Kills, Hip Hop Heals" concert led by Pro’verb and a multitude of hip hop artists at Everlasting Life Café on the 16th December 2011. All monies raised will be donated to the Capital Area Food Bank. Teaming up with the Capital Area Food Bank, the Will Rap 4 Food campaign, in its first year is expected to be one of the DMV’s largest grass roots food drive.

The concert will begin at 9pm and will be comprised of a seasoned mixture of artists in the hip hop community ranging from spoken word artists to live hip hop performances appealing to all ages. Tickets are priced at $10 however, there will be $1 deducted for each non-perishable food item donated.
