3rd Grade Class Brings Halloween Fun to King Street Nursing Home in Westchester County, New York

Nov. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Greenwich, CT… On Friday, October 28, 2011 a Halloween visit was arranged by Rachel and Brooke Wallenstein under the guidance of their Dad, Stuart, to the King Street Nursing home in Westchester County New York.

The children were invited to dress in costume and distribute cards made by their 3rd grade classmates to the residents and staff of the nursing home. Rachel and Brooke were joined by six of their classmates (including some younger siblings).

“The kids were adorable and had a positive experience greeting the residents. Their visit brightened the residents’ day” said Stuart Wallenstein, and Activities Director, Lynne Lippert commented that the children were welcome back anytime.

Stuart Wallenstein, the proud father of Rachel and Brooke, is the owner of Always Best Care Senior Services of Southwest Connecticut.  According to Wallenstein, this visit was a “Great way for the kids to learn to give something back and understand more about the needs of seniors.”
