By: Chelsea Gregory "The RPM Production family are one of the most amazing bunch of people in this industry," said Chelsea. " They are honest, sincere and truly care about everyone they meet. " Chelsea should know as she has gotten to know the director, Paula Miles and her team over the past year and a half. Chelsea worked with and continues to consult Chelsea Cooley Altman, Miss North Carolina USA 2005 who also went on to win Miss USA 2005. "As a coach, Chelsea is amazing. She is so encouraging and loves everyone to death. It's hard not to fall in love with her!" The Miss South Carolina USA pageant was held in the North Charleston Performing Arts Center and this year was blessed to have over 40 contestants for the Miss division. The 2011 queen, Courtney Hope Turner gave up her crown to the new winner, Erika Powell who represented Easley before winning the title of Miss South Carolina USA 2012. Chelsea cheered on several of her pageant friends including Kathleen Benton, who won 2nd place, and Olivia Olvera who won 1st runner up. Both girls had competed with Chelsea in Miss South Carolina USA 2011 and Miss Charleston USA last year. Chelsea continues to represent her International title until March of 2012. She plans to continue her work for CHADD and ADHD awareness long after that. When asked if she will do another pageant, Chelsea says she would love to. "It is a terrific way to meet people, network, open doors but most importantly raise awareness for my platform on ADHD," says Chelsea. Chelsea is a national affiliate for CHADD, the organization that supports ADHD in both children and adults. She has a program called Re-Focus ADHD Awareness and can be booked for speaking engagements through the contact us page. Chelsea is also planning to write a book on her experience with ADHD. "I cannot believe that schools still try to get out of helping students with this disorder! It is unacceptable!"
