This charitable initiative is based on the simple concept that a small act of generosity by one person can positively change the lives of many. With the economy as gloomy as it is, more and more families are struggling just to make ends meet. Morning Star also recognizes that it may be difficult for needy families to get to our location and has taken this matter into account and has created the perfect "solution" by not only providing the turkey and all the trimmings but pledging to personally deliver the items to the homes of the families.
“We are privileged to help those less fortunate and it is our corporate mission to give and serve our local community,” stated Pastor Therman Evans. “Last year we were able to give thanksgiving baskets and turkeys to over 500 families. It is our pledge to reach even more this year.”
