Mizay Entertainment Feeds 200 Riverdale Families

Nov. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Riverdale, GA - Mizay Entertainment announced today that their annual Thanksgiving Give-A-Way event will be hosted by the City of Riverdale.  Led by company CEO, Debra Antney, the artists and executives will join the Hon. Dr. Evelyn Wynn Dixon, Mayor of Riverdale, GA at City Hall, to distribute Thanksgiving baskets to families in need.

Mizay artist and former Riverdale resident, Waka Flocka Flame, will be on hand to support this philanthropic effort.  Moreover, he will offer words of hope and encouragement to the 200 preselected families in light of this 2011 holiday season.  The popular southern Hip-Hop artist was quoted,  “I’m from here, not Atlanta. I feel like we all have to give back. There’s no one else checking on our people.

With a background in social services, Debra Antney lives her life ‘paying it forward’ and insists the same of each artist on her roster.  Families will receive a turkey along with all of the trimmings to prepare an entire Thanksgiving meal.  With the help of the city of Riverdale, a targeted effort is being made to ensure that this initiative impacts the most appropriate segment of the community’s population.

The annual event will take place on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 1:00PM at the City of Riverdale, 7200 Church Street, Riverdale, GA 30274.
