November 2011 - Living in the country is no reason to think you can’t benefit from modern solar technolgy—in fact, it may even help! Such was the case for Sturbridge residents and homeowners Bob and Susan Arnold, whose 100-year-old farmhouse was profiled in this month’s issue of Sturbridge Times Magazine (in the article “Solar panels attractive to tech savvy residents and town,” by Stephanie Richards). Sunlight Solar Energy was responsible for installing the 18-panel, 4.1 megawatt solar electric (photovoltaic)
Bob Arnold, a photographer and longtime Sturbridge resident whose interest in solar dates back several decades, described by phone his enormous satisfaction with the installation process and said that working with Sunlight Solar was "a terrific experience."
The Arnolds chose to go with Sunlight Solar after attending a presentation the company held in Sturbridge last winter. The company regularly holds such presentations in towns across Massachusetts (see the company’s Massachusetts events page—http://sunlightsolar.com/
By email, Bob wished a big thank-you to the entire team at Sunlight Solar Energy. “We've been delighted with the whole experience,”
