Aromatherapy massage has been recognised as helpful for patients suffering from chesty coughs, colds and sinus problems. Lots of people use aromatherapy for colds, even if it's just a mentholated chest rub. Using aromatherapy you can help sooth blocked noses, headaches, coughs, and sore throats.

The benefit of aromatherapy treatment lies in the fact that the essential oils work on two levels: psychological and physical. Peppermint is a mild decongestant, and relaxant. It also has antibacterial and antiviral benefits.  Peppermint can be extremely effective if a few drops are added to massage oils.
