Dorothy L. Korszen Receives Award from Englewood Area Board of Realtors

Nov. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Dorothy L. Korszen, a Director at Farr Law Firm, was voted 2011 “Business Partner of the Year” by members of the Englewood Area Board of REALTORS®.  Members chose Korszen for her responsiveness, educational presentations and ongoing support of the board and its members.

Korszen practices from the firm’s Englewood office and focuses on real estate, trusts and estates, and business and corporate law.  She has experience in all areas of residential and commercial real estate transactions.  Korszen also works with clients in preparing wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents and advises business owners in the formation, organization and management of business entities.

In addition to being actively involved with the Englewood Area Board of Realtors, Korszen is also a member of the Englewood Women’s Council of REALTORS®, the Englewood-Venice Business and Professional Women’s Group, the Charlotte County Bar Association, and the Charlotte County Estate and Tax Planning Council.  Korszen is president of the South County Division of the Sarasota County Bar Association and is a board member of The State College of Florida Foundation, Inc.  She formerly served as chair of the board of directors of the Gulf Coast Community Foundation of Venice.

“Dorothy makes herself available to the board when ever called, to do special presentations that are of importance to the members, such as legal updates, drafting contracts and negotiating short sales.  She is always on hand to answer any specific questions the local Realtors have,” said Cindy Hughes, Association Executive.
