The event will be held in Highland School's Rice Theatre located at 597 Broadview Avenue, Warrenton, Virginia.
The program will commence with an overview of Highland's college counseling program followed by a panel discussion of the search and application process by college admissions professionals from:
University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa, AL)
Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, PA)
Georgetown University (Washington, DC)
Hollins University (Lynchburg, VA)
James Madison University (Harrisonburg, VA)
Rhodes College (Memphis, TN).
Directly following the discussion, families will have an opportunity to interact one-on-one with panelists.
On the morning of Friday, November 18, juniors will participate in a series of workshops facilitated by the visiting panelists addressing the college search process, application evaluations, additional factors and college essays.
The event marks the official college search and selection "kick-off" process for the Class of 2013.
