Plante Moran Recieves Top Workplaces Recognition

The state-wide survey looked at companies in small, midsize and large categories; Plante Moran was named third in the large companies category. Plante Moran has a tradition of workplace success, receiving numerous workplace awards through the years, including the coveted national award from FORTUNE magazine, which has named the firm one of the country’s best places to work for 13 consecutive years.

The Detroit Free Press highlighted Plante Moran’s standout perks: everyone gets a laptop computer; a $300 bonus was recently offered to staff to use towards the purchase of a smart phone or tablet computer; flex time; health club reimbursement; and a college scholarship program for the children of Plante Moran staff. Also highlighted was the firm’s commitment to the golden rule and the symbolic golden ruler given to all staff on their first day of employment.

As part of the Detroit Free Press Top Workplaces award, Plante Moran was selected as the winner of Top Workplace Standout in the Managers category. The managers’ award was given to Plante Moran based on responses to the following criteria statement: “My manager helps me learn and grow, makes it easier to do my job well and listens to me; I have confidence in my manager.”
