Chroma ATE Introduces the Industry’s First Analog Resource with TMU Per Pin Architecture

Chroma ATE has announced its new VI-45 Analog Resource Board - the industry’s first analog resource with TMU per pin architecture. The VI-45 is the first in a series of analog resources developed for the Chroma 3650 Test System.

Nov. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Chroma ATE, a world leading supplier of electronic test, measurement and manufacturing equipment, has announced today its new VI-45 Analog Resource Board. The VI-45 is the industry’s first analog resource with TMU per pin architecture.  Each pin has source, measure and timing capabilities fully synchronized with digital resources allowing Mixed Signal Testing.

The VI-45 was developed with parallel testing in mind.  All pins can operate in parallel, including AWG, Digitizer, source, measure and TMU.  Differential measurements, +/-45V 10pA input impedance, dual comparator TFE per pin and DDS controlled sampling are just some of the unique features available in the VI-45.

The new VI-45 is able to deliver the higher density 32 channels per resourced board in market with high performance features as follows:

• VI per channel resources with 4 quadrant operation for FVMI & FIMV, Digitizer 18 bit ADC with 200KHZ 8K memory depth and AWG 18bit DAC with 200KHZ 8K memory depth
• TMU per channel with dual comparators, 25MHZ Bandwidth & +/-2nS  accuracy
• Dedicated DVM per rider (8 channels) with 10 voltage measure ranges from +/-45V to +/-50mV, 18 bit ADC with 1MHZ sample rate 4M memory depth and DDS sample rate generator from 1KHZ to 1MHZ
• Dedicated AWG per rider (8 channels) with 8 voltage force ranges from +/-45V to 714mV, 16 bits DAC with 1MHZ sample rate 8M memory depth, DDS sample rate from 1KHZ to 1MHZ, differential outputs through two different VI channel.
