The creator of the report, pianist/composer Edward Weiss has this to say about it:
"As a pianist and composer, there were many times when the music simply did not flow. I wondered why this happened and thought about it for a good long time. My answer to this problem is one a lot of people don't like to hear but it still applies."
The report Weiss has written is geared toward music but according to this 'New Age' piano teacher, it can be applied equally well to any creative endeavor.
Weiss remarks:
"A lot of people try and barrel their way through dry spells and creative lapses. But this is the wrong approach entirely. Sure, you can get a 'product' out there, but it won't have that special X factor that comes when creativity flows naturally and normally. It really doesn't matter what art one practices - this approach works for them all."
