Nov. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Atlanta, GA November 20, 2011 – The Thanksgiving holiday is rapidly approaching and many families have the hardship of not being able to provide a proper Thanksgiving meal for their families this year. After observing this issue, FansiteTV.Com decided to set a goal of raising 50 turkeys for the Center for Working Families, Inc. “Many families in and around the Atlanta Metro area actually find themselves stressing more around the holidays simply because of the lack of jobs in the community,” says the Vice President of FansiteTV.Com. “As a key influencer in the community, we feel that a Turkey Drive to raise awareness of this imperative issue is needed around this season of giving. TCWFI was the perfect marriage for such an awareness because of their positive and effective approach to helping families get off their feet in such a harsh economy.” The Center for Working Families, INC (TCWFI) is a private not for profit agency centrally located within the inner City of Atlanta that provides a combination of economic stimulus, employment, job development, work supports, and asset building programs to meet the needs of families living within the six neighborhoods clustered around Atlanta’s Turner Field. With a set goal to raise 50 turkeys, Fansitetv.Com would like to invite the business district of Castleberry and the community in a combined effort to help provide families in need with a proper meal for the Thanksgiving holiday.
