Recently opened in February of 2011, Fountain Street Fine Art is a modern industrial space exhibiting the works of local artists. The gallery is located in the Bancroft building, home of Fountain Street Studios, a group of over 70 working artists housed in a century-old factory in South Framingham. While some of the Gallery’s artists have studios in the building, many do not.
Membership at the core and associate levels is juried; member artists help support the gallery through member dues and gallery staffing, and are entitled to solo or 2-person shows in the gallery. A third category, called Artist Friend, is open to any artist, and offers free or discounted entry to juried shows, classes and workshops. More information on membership is available at fountainstreetfineart.com
The gallery will also be open during Fountain Street Studios’ Holiday Stroll, Saturday and Sunday Nov. 19-20, when most of the studios in the building will be open to the public.
