The public may also purchase raffle tickets for the chance to go home with one of several great prizes including a pearl and crystal necklace and earrings, a Gotskind’s gift card, AMC movie passes, and the grand prize: a gourmet Italian gift basket and gift certificate for an esthetique facial peel.
Advance sale raffle tickets can be purchased online at the NAHS website, www.napervilleareahumanesociety.org, or shoppers can buy raffle tickets during the Holiday Bazaar. For online ticket sales, there is a minimum order of $5.00. Winners need not be present to claim their prizes. All of the proceeds from the Holiday Bazaar sales and raffle will help NAHS provide care for the cats and dogs that find themselves homeless this holiday season.
“Not only do we hope that Naperville area residents will join us for a festive day of shopping and maybe checking off a few items on their lists, but we are eager to showcase our efforts to provide compassionate care and comfort to the animals here at the shelter. And who knows, maybe a dog or cat will be the big winner that day by going home for the holidays,” says Angie Wood, executive director of the Naperville Area Humane Society.
The Naperville Area Humane Society is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1979 to develop and implement animal welfare programs and services within Naperville and surrounding communities. NAHS’ goal is to protect animals and to prevent animal suffering.
