(Golden, Co – November 9, 2011) Aardex LLC, a nationwide, full service developer, construction
manager and property services firm, today announced the appointment of Chris Ernst as the new
Chief Executive Officer and Owner.
Mr. Ernst will focus on driving revenue growth in Aardex’s existing markets such as hospitality and
Healthcare, expanding Aardex’s Propery Services division, and continuing to emphasize their unique
Integrated approach to the development design, construction and property services of sustainable
commercial properties.
Before being named CEO, Chris was Aardex’s Senior Vice President of Business Development since coming on board in 2004. In his esteemed real estate career, he has closed in excess of 1.3 billiion dollars in sales and leasing transactions and developed Aardex’s most compelling projects. The Signature
Centre in Golden, Colorado was the first commercial LEED Platinum building in Colorado, and earned
Aardex the distinction of being the second company in the world to achieve “pure” LEED Platinum
certification inside and out. He also developed the first LEED Gold ground source geothermal hospital
in the United States. Chris’ breadth of knowledge in the industry gave him the vision to see beyond
Aardex’s roots in GSA and apply their core strengths to build success in new markets such as healthcare
and the private sector.
