Cambridge Online partners with Infor to offer ERP to UK discrete manufacturers

Nov. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Cambridge Online will now offer Infor’s specialist manufacturing ERP system called Infor10 ERP Business (SyteLine) to discrete manufacturers in a broad range of industries, such as metal fabrication, industrial equipment and machinery, high tech electronics and automotive manufacturers in the UK.

Cambridge Online will provide sales, installation, integration and comprehensive support for Infor10 ERP Business, effective immediately, following extensive training activity and setting up a new team to handle the manufacturing software solution.
Infor10 ERP Business provides the software foundation to help discrete manufacturers drive business efficiencies, and improve their productivity and customer service capabilities. The product enables tight integration with tools for sales and customer relationships, production, supply chain, product configurations, inventory, accounting and financials.

Cambridge Online will now be able to help manufacturers embrace IT systems to help them:
•   Achieve better management and optimise overall stock levels
•   Enable  quicker and more accurate deliveries to customers
•   Deliver integration with other back office systems for smooth end-to-end processes, eliminating duplication and providing time savings in purchasing and supply chain management
•   Improve visibility for better planning, forecasting and accuracy of production

Infor ERP technology is already used by more than 7,000 machinery manufacturers and 80 of the top 100 automotive suppliers worldwide.  It is looking for a larger share of the manufacturing market through expansion of its Infor Partner Network in the UK. Infor recently unveiled a new middleware layer badged Infor10 ION Suite which is designed to support interoperability between its software suites and ease integration with other back office systems.
