Harris Rolls Out Human Resources Module for AptaFund 4

Nov. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Harris School Solutions announces the release of the human resources module for AptaFund 4, the newly available upgrade of the online fund accounting and business management solution.

"We are very pleased with the release and availability of the new human resources module. The enhanced, web-based user interface (UI) allows districts to easily manage and report on their human resources data," stated Vice President of Sales and Marketing Deana Kovalcik.

The AptaFund4 human resources module provides a web portal into the AptaFund database, allowing for creation and editing of employee records online. Upon the completion of a new employee record, the information becomes available to other installed AptaFund modules, including purchasing, payables, and payroll.

"The human resources module is now in use by a number of existing customers. The feedback from the clients regarding the new UI has been very positive," stated Kovalcik.

AptaFund 4 is a centrally hosted, web accessible, Software as a Service (SaaS) solution available to school districts with an enrollment under 15,000 students. The modules are fully-integrated, aiding personnel in the timely completion of back-office and fund accounting procedures. It offers over 120 customizable reports, and is hosted in a highly secure internet data center featuring AptaTrace transaction tracing capabilities. In addition to recent enhancements in state reporting, AptaFund 4 is GAAP, GASB 34, and USFR compliant, and provides multi-level security safeguards for financial information.

"The web-based interface is being rolled out in phases beginning with human resources.
