Allison Mezzafonte, most recently the executive web editor for ElleDecor.com, has been promoted to shelter network director and will oversee ElleDecor.com, HouseBeautiful.com and CountryLiving.com. Mezzafonte assumed her new role on November 7 and reports to Weinberg.

Reporting to Mezzafonte in the home group will be Rachel Deschepper, who will join the team as a web editor for CountryLiving.com today. Deschepper previously worked as an online editor for Fresh Home and RachaelRayMag.com.

On November 21, Lauren Le Vine, most recently an editor and blog, social media and content manager for DailyMakeover.com, will start as web editor for Redbookmag.com. She will report to Jennifer Barrett, who joined Hearst this summer as network director for Hearst’s Women’s Lifestyle network.

Barrett is responsible for leading the daily programming and product planning for HDM’s women’s lifestyle sites including Cosmopolitan.com, RedbookMag.com, and GoodHousekeeping.com. She reports to Weinberg. Previously, Barrett was editorial director for NBC Universal’s iVillage Health.

"These new positions and promotion will be integral in the rapid growth and development of our content and programming at Hearst Digital Media,” said Weinberg. “All of these women bring great web programming and content experience to our team and the future of the women's lifestyle and shelter sites."
