Follow on Google News | Wall Street Rocks Kicks Off Its Fundraising Entertainment Series With A Concert At Irving PlazaWall Street Rocks, a non-profit organization that uses music and entertainment to raise funds for veteran charities like the Wounded Warrior Project, and ReserveAid will kick off a series of fundraisers on Dec 6, 2011 at Irving Plaza with a concert.
By: Marie Assante The energetic event will feature live entertainment provided by musicians and bands that work hard for their Wall Street firms by day and break loose at night. These performers will take the main stage at Irving Plaza to honor the military and funds will be raised through the sales of tickets for admission. Wall Street Rocks is a non-profit organization comprised of members of the financial, technology and entertainment communities that have banded together to honor American war heroes. Members of the United States Armed Forces risk their lives everyday to protect the rights of American citizens. Wall Street Rocks recognizes that now is the time to pay homage and give back to these brave men and women. Many companies have made significant donations as supporters to the Wall Street Rocks campaign. Corporate sponsors include Morgan Stanley, Citihub and Cisco, which have helped raise $257,000 to date.
