Launch Of Aim Core Protect’s AIM Is No Accident

The recently restructured Aim Group, one of the UK's largest providers of motor and family legal cover, has delivered on its promise to the industry with today’s launch of Aim Incident Management (AIM), designed to help insurers and brokers alike.

Nov. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Introduced by the team running Aim Core Protect – the subsidiary focusing specifically on strengthening relationships with the insurance sector – AIM is a comprehensive claims management solution for handling fault, non-fault and third party motor claims. Whilst not unique, the service is unusual because it caters for third party claims, not normally covered by competitive services but on the increase thanks to the prevailing economic climate.

AIM’s introduction represents a win-win for the market as a whole. Not only does it remove a great deal of hassle from the process, saving brokers time and money especially where problematic third party claims are concerned, but it also helps claimants to benefit from swift access to expert services at discounted rates. From minor scratches on paintwork to breakdown recovery and windscreen replacement, right through to major road traffic accidents, involving serious injuries and total losses, the process, quality and professionalism of the service will remain the same.

Following an incident, customers simply ring the AIM hotline, given to them when they take out their policy. A rapid initial assessment of the situation is made by the response team, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, before the logistics of any repairs or replacement vehicles are organised and any liaison with insurance companies, personal injury solicitors or medical professionals begins.

All rescue and repair services will be delivered through a nationwide network of well established and highly regarded industry suppliers, firmly established as Aim’s preferred delivery partners.

Announcing the launch, sales manager, Ian Meachin, explains: “Someone once told me there’s no such thing as an accident so the creation of our incident management service was the culmination of detailed research and strategic planning, lengthy discussions and trials, as well as a real desire to broaden and strengthen our relationship with the insurance sector in particular.”

“We identified a real gap in the market for a well defined incident management service that caters for everyone, that benefits everyone, so that’s exactly what we set out to create. A solution that enhances the total customer experience, from the person on the road in difficulty, to the broker who wants to devolve after sales responsibility to someone else, so that they can concentrate on selling policies, secure in the knowledge that the quality and efficiency of our help, if needed, will provide an added incentive for customers to renew with them in future.”

Meachin concludes: “From the initial industry feedback we’ve received, bringing this development to market is a tangible sign for our commercial partners that we are moving in the right direction. And from our perspective, it is an indication of bigger and better things to come.”
