Mr. Burroughs has been in the real estate business for over 30 years and is a native Houstonian.  His family has been in real estate for generations as his family was actively involved in the original development of the Montrose area of Houston.  By combining the marketing and management of residential properties, Mr. Burroughs will leverage his experience along with invaluable resources available through the Lion Real Estate Group’s teams to the investor, as well as other clients.  Mr. Burroughs will seek new investors, and those who desire to have their properties managed will access Ashoka Lion’s residential property management experience in the Houston area.  While all aspects of the residential real estate market will be professionally serviced, emphasis will be placed on the creation of owners looking to build rental portfolios or maybe leasing a few years till the market conditions change.  Owners who may be having difficulty selling their properties have the option to change those properties into income producing assets by leasing.  Mr. Burroughs will also seek lease properties from other real estate agents who do not wish to become involved in the leasing and/or management of residential properties.  For some agents this is a time consuming part of the real estate business and takes away from the areas where they want to focus their expertise.  Investors are potential buyers, and for the sellers, it opens up new corridors and opportunities for the sale of their property.
