Michael Schmitt Joins BKD Technologies

Nov. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- NATIONAL OFFICE – Michael Burlew, managing partner of BKD, LLP’s Initiatives & Subsidiaries Region, is pleased to announce that Michael Schmitt has joined BKD Technologies as a senior consultant for the Sage Software practice.

Schmitt has more than 25 years of experience performing software assessments, designing business process requirements and implementing ERP software.  As part of the BKD Sage team, his responsibilities will include installation, implementation and training organizations on Sage MAS 500 and Sage ERP X3.

Mike has served customers in the automotive, electronics, agricultural, process manufacturing and metal fabrication industries.  Customer types included make-to-stock, make-to-order, engineer-to-order, job shop and repetitive.

Mike is Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).  His Sage consultant certifications include core, financial, manufacturing and technical competencies.  An active member of APICS The Association for Operations Management, he previously served as vice president of membership for the APICS St. Louis Chapter and membership director and president for the APICS Fox River Chapter in Chicago.

He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, with a B.S. degree in quantitative methods.
